Materials Matter
This project represents a collaborative effort to create a museum gallery that explores the intersection of design and sustainability in an engaging, interactive way. The gallery showcases transformative approaches to plastic recycling, the creative potential of upcycling and textile recycling and the process of converting glass into sand. Additionally, the exhibit delves into the world of emerging sustainable materials, shedding light on their role in shaping the future of design. The space not only educates visitors on the importance of sustainable practices but also inspires action, offering a glimpse into the future of eco-conscious design and the power of reimagining waste.

Exhibit Concept
This exhibit will present several types of sustainable materials, while allowing the viewer to interact with the materials themselves. After reading and feeling the materials, the user can then test this knowledge with a game, where they select materials for a product and find out how environmentally friendly their choices are. Finally, the viewer can read more about what they can do to help create a more sustainable future.
